Balcony theater typical of the selector's cottagesA covered timber verandah runs along the eastern face of the Ranger Headquarters at Waratah Park, Duffys Forest. A single bench table sits mid deck; chain mesh railings border the drop into eucalypt canopy below. Built in 1967 as a television set for Skippy the Bush Kangaroo, the building was never a working ranger station. The bush surrounding it, however, was always real. Part of the Waratah Park series.
